Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Group Marketing Manager to lead and oversee marketing efforts across multiple business units within the organization. As the Group Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that elevate brand visibility, drive customer engagement, and support business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and senior management, to align marketing initiatives with the overall business objectives. Your leadership will be key in managing and mentoring a team of marketing professionals to achieve exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive group-level marketing strategies to support the growth and success of multiple business units.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of marketing professionals across different areas such as digital marketing, content creation, brand management, and market research.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels and business units, maintaining a strong and unified brand identity.
- Drive lead generation and customer acquisition strategies through a combination of online and offline marketing initiatives.
- Oversee the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital advertising, email marketing, social media, content marketing, and public relations.
- Analyze market trends, customer data, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product launches, and promotional activities.
- Manage the marketing budget for the group, ensuring that all campaigns and initiatives are cost-effective and deliver a high return on investment (ROI).
- Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Work with external agencies, vendors, and partners to execute marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure alignment and support for marketing initiatives.
- Ensure that marketing activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- 8+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial role, preferably in a group or multi-business-unit environment.
- Proven experience in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team of marketing professionals.
- Experience in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and email marketing.
- Strong understanding of traditional marketing channels, including print, TV, radio, and events.
- Experience with data analysis and marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.) to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and inform decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling marketing messages and reports for various stakeholders.
- Experience managing marketing budgets and allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously.
- In-depth knowledge of branding, customer segmentation, and consumer behavior.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in B2B or B2C marketing, depending on the company’s focus.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, Pardot, Mailchimp).
- Understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) systems, such as Salesforce.
- Knowledge of web design and development principles (HTML, CSS, CMS platforms).
- Ability to think strategically while also being hands-on with the execution of marketing campaigns.
