Job Description:
We are looking for compassionate, patient, and dedicated individuals to join our team as Caregivers. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to individuals who need help with daily living activities due to age, illness, or disability. Your responsibilities will include personal care, companionship, and ensuring the overall well-being of your clients in a safe and comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily activities, including personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, dressing), meal preparation, and feeding.
• Help with mobility, including assisting clients with walking, transferring from bed to chair, and supporting physical therapy exercises.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging in conversation and social activities to reduce feelings of isolation.
• Administer medication as directed, ensuring timely and accurate dosages.
• Monitor and record clients’ health conditions, including vital signs, and report any changes to healthcare professionals.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living environment.
• Ensure safety in the home by removing hazards and ensuring the client’s home is comfortable and secure.
• Help with running errands, shopping for groceries, and other essential tasks.
• Provide respite care for family members, offering support and relief to caregivers.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with clients, their families, and healthcare teams to ensure the best possible care.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or in a healthcare setting (preferred).
• Certification in caregiving, home health, or a related field (preferred).
• Ability to work with elderly, disabled, or ill clients with empathy and patience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and their families.
• Reliable, responsible, and dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and other tasks.
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and respect their dignity.
• First aid and CPR certification (preferred).
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
